Seven Days of Twilight: Day One

The end of day is a wonderful time to be out in the world. Even after the sun is down, colors pop and glow in the skies, on buildings, and on flora and fauna. Today I begin a series of seven posts — seven consecutive days, is the plan — with images from late day, sunset, twilight, and dusk. All were taken in or from my neighborhood streets and parks in the Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco. For Day One I share three “photo painted” pieces — canna edulis flowers from the San Francisco Botanical Garden; a sparrow from Stow Lake; and an evening rush hour scene from the neighborhood. Enjoy, and be sure to check back for days two through seven!
